In creating this artwork, I wanted to express the stress I was experiencing. The two panels help express the violent movements of waves and like stress. It took time for me to come to terms with things, and create something that seemed hopeful instead of heavy. There are two panels because I felt like there were two sides: one where you could see the dangerous nature of waves coming towards you, and one where you could see the beauty within the wave.
